The story

On a world far from our own stands the City of Mettaya, crowned by a gold light that has never once gone out. In two days, its people will celebrate the festival of their endless dawn. But beneath the city, an ancient darkness has waited since the very first day. For generations, its name has been passed down in whispers: Sah Ryna. Now it is rising.

Mettaya is a warrior who has always seen how things end. Never the way there. And every ending leads him to the same place: a silent field of ash. With time running out, he descends into the abyss to stop it, into a dark that seems to have been waiting for him.

Above, Dalo, the one person he can’t bear to lose, keeps the lights that lead him home. And from the edge of creation, a celestial stranger and his small robot companion have begun their own descent, toward the same darkness.
